Idra Canzio Pianoforti

Restoration of pianos, tuning and maintenance. Idra's workshop has been in activity for three generations.

Following a long familiar tradition, the Idra Canzio company performs piano reconstruction and repair using efficacious methods, which results in the complete regeneration of the instrument.

The activities of the family with pianos goes back to 1936, with the grandfather Celeste Idra who decides to go to Germany to improve his experience. 

Returned to Italy in 1946, he continues to work as a technician in Verona, Milan and Saronno. His son Canzio learns the profession from him, flanking it as an apprentice at age of 14.

Since 1972 Canzio is joined by his son Walter, who now carries on the business in Casalecchio, while the other son Eraclio works in Saronno, where he runs a music shop with a large workshop.
