In Osteria Nuova (4 km far from Sala Bolognese), the Villa Terracini is worth visiting.

It was built in 18th century and it is a typical country house of the Plains.

In its extensive park, there is a lovely example of a “conserva”, a sort of natural larder- fridge in use until last century.

One of the two deconsecrated churchs of the villa hosts the "La Chiesa dell'Arte", a school of plastic arts which is managed by a blind sculptor and arranges courses for everyone who wants to approach sculptural art in an alternative way.

The "barchessa" of the villa (a sort of barn) hosts the Forum Giovani now, a place where young people can confront each other and play an active part in the activities promoted by the Comune di Sala Bolognese.

This villa can be seen only from the outside. It is open to the public on the occasion of cultural events.
